If you’re self-employed or a small business owner, you need a website that reflects your personality and attracts your ideal customers. Creating that yourself is really hard. Between staring at a blank page, wondering what to write, getting things to lay out how you want them and the inevitable tech problems, building your own website takes a really long time, even if you use a website builder and templates. I can take out all the hassle, and work with you to craft a brand and website that you’ll feel proud of and want to share.


I love working with small business owners, especially those who are doing good things in their community or the world. I’ve worked as an acupuncturist and run my own business for over a decade, and I know what it’s like having to do everything yourself. Building your website doesn’t have to be like that though. I’ll collaborate with you on strategy, content and design because nobody knows your business better than you. Working with me, you’ll get focused one-to-one service from someone who’s been there themselves.

How we can work together


First we’ll spend some time together to clarify what you do, how you do it and who you help. We’ll look at the values and personality of your business and talk about your customers. Most of all, what are your business goals and how can I help you reach them?


Next we distill the personality and values of your business into visual elements that will appeal to your ideal clients. Now we can create marketing materials, packaging and even products that look consistent and resonate with your customers.


Once established, we’ll take the design elements of your brand and build them into a quality website. We’ll establish what your customers need to see to determine if you’re a good fit for them, and make that process as streamlined as possible.


After your site is built, we need to make sure it continues to run smoothly, is kept up to date and any technical issues are addressed quickly. We can also see how visitors use the site and refine the content to make sure the site performs at its best.
